The process of looking, discovering and gathering is essential to my work. I am a collector of the discarded and an arranger of the sentimental. When making drawing and sculpture I use found objects such as balloons, greeting cards, and toys to question the authenticity of memory. Using performance I recreate actions associated with childhood play to highlight the human desire for companionship. I am interested in reimagining what is considered lost or forgotten in a fantastical way. A recreation that is beautiful, but out of reach.
